After a long journey on the road, we found ourselves in Waterton Lakes National Park! We were in the Canada, aye? We were now in the Canadian portion of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. We found a campsite and set up camp. There were a lot of campers because it was the day before Labor Day and it was the last day a lot of the campgrounds were open.
After checking out the campground we would stay at the next night, we drove back to our campsite. There was a shelter nearby that we sat under for most of the evening. Some other campers had built a fire inside. It felt good to be out of the wind and cold. After awhile we heard some of our neighbors singing loudly over the wind. They were like drunkard sailors. Let's just say we were quite joyous when it started to rain on their parade and they had to dive into their RV's! We meet the most interesting people while camping.
