Jeralyn is outgrowing her 6 month outfits and now fits into 9 month.  She looks adorable in this zebra print vest outfit that Grandpa & Grandma Smith gave her for Christmas!

Playtime 2.27.12

Uncle Nate captured the babies during their evening time together.  Notice how Jeralyn isn't on her blanket?  She's moving around so much now!

Our nephew Jackson thought his mom's apple looked delish, so he captured it!  And then I captured him!

Peas 2.26.12

Every few days I try to introduce a new food to Jeralyn.  So far (except for prunes and oatmeal) I've been making all of the baby food.  It's been a lot of fun making the food!  Today was the day she would try peas for the first time, and based on what she's done with other "green" vegetables in the past, I was curious to see if she would make some fun faces.  So Quent was ready with the camera.

So peas aren't her favorite.  The next day I mixed it with more carrots to sweeten the deal; she liked that better!

A Sneeze & A Barbie 2.25.12

My mom sent a box of goodies and one item was a Barbie with a very beautiful dress, but a very interesting hair-do.  I have Barbies in boxes waiting for Jeralyn to play with someday, but I thought I would introduce her to this Barbie right away.  She thought she was pretty cool!  She just stared at her at first and then "played" with her.

My Little Girl 2.25.12

They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder.  I would have to agree.  Being in the hospital (after my appendectomy [read previous posts for info]) and away from my sweet little girl for 5 days was so very hard! I feel like my love for her has strengthened and deepened in the last 2 weeks.  I don't ever want to take the time I have with her for granted.  I'm so in love with her!

Book Time

Just this week Jeralyn's new thing is to hit her books while we read to her.  She really gets into it!

6 Months 2.24.12

She's 6 months old!!  Can you believe it?!!

She LOVES hanging out on her daddy's shoulders! She likes to pull his hair.  Super funny!

High-Chair 2.21.12

Grandpa & Grandma Smith sent Jeralyn the most beautiful Amish-made high chair.  And this past week she's been using it more and more!  We put a little gripper sheet on the seat so she wouldn't slide forward and a kitty pillow behind her head, and she's good to go!  She thinks it's great!  And she's so cute in it, too!

Jeralyn has started making this cute breathing sound.  She does it when she's frustrated or when she's excited.  Check it out!

Daddy Time 2.20.12

Jeralyn loves her daddy!  They were having a lot of fun together!  After awhile she was pulling on his lip.  It was funny!

Sitting Pretty 2.19.12

Jeralyn is getting so much better at sitting without any help/support from us!  She gets stronger and stronger everyday.
