North Wrangell High Country Shelter was getting some use when I took this picture Saturday afternoon, October 29. Most of the earlier snow had melted but new snow was falling fast.
Captivating!
Another glance from the jet.
View from the jet at the glaciers and mountains between Juneau and Anchorage. Christina went to Anchorage for a few days. This is what I call ALASKA!

Quent fishing...except we don't think there's any fish in Long Lake.
Shadow the Cute.
"...high on the hill...yodalady, yodalady, yodalady, yoda-whoo-whoo-whoo...one little girl in the pale pink coat heard..." (Christina yodeling...sorta!)

Another beauty!
Beautiful view!
Peek-a-boo!
Quent and Natasha at the high country shelter, after their 2.5 hour hike.
Snow-capped mountains above the fog.
Sunrise from the high country shelter. What looks like water is not water, it's actually fog.
View of the continental US from Spur Road. The snow has come!
