Cider Mill 9.29.12

The next day we went to the Paint Creek Cider Mill to enjoy some cider and donuts.  It was SO nice to have this experience since we don't have cider mills in Southeast Alaska.

We walked over to this concrete dam where they used to dam up the water to use for the mill.  It also made for a fun balance beam.

And then we walked along the dried-up creek...and through tunnels.  Here is Kelly going through a tunnel, trying to avoid the mud.

Aunt Amanda helped Jeralyn get through the tricky parts.

Katie showing us her mud-avoiding tricks...although I think she did get muddy.

We left that morning from Smith Acres and traveled south to my dad and Kelly's house.  We arrived a little before the kids came home from school.  It was a beautiful day outside, so we spent some time playing in the backyard.  It was so great to see everyone once again!

My siblings (Katie, Amanda, and Jacob) with Jeralyn.  I really like this photo!

I guess Jeralyn is the monkey in the middle no matter which way you look.  Ha!

Here are some photos I took with my phone using Instagram when we were at Quent's parent's farm.

My friend Calun and I.  I hadn't seen her in maybe 9 years...maybe 10 years.  I was so happy to see her and catch up a little bit.

Aunt Natasha September 2012

I hope Natasha doesn't mind, but I wanted to post some photos she took of us when we were in Michigan.  She's an amazing AMAZING photographer and I'm always just in awe at her creations.
