Going Skiing!

After take off, there was a nice view of the lodge with MacCall Ridge behind it.

After we started skiing up the valley toward what appeared to be a good line, we noticed ptarmigans, and more ptarmigans, and more ptarmigans. They were all over. Here's one trying to hide as it's partner attempts to scamper out of the frame. It was nice to hear them. They kept up their chatter throughout the night and the next morning. At times it would sound like they would get real close to our tents.
