Aerial Views

The aerial view of Solidarity Peak at 8884 feet where Nate and Hombi climbed as Reto and I rested.

Ski tracks on a smooth alpine glacier. The long "waves" closest to the bottom of the frame are Nate's fast moving tracks. The more frequent, shallow turns above his tracks are mine. Among the two tracks that are intermingled Hombi has the larger sweeping turns and Reto's tracks consistently slalom down the mountain. The top most inverted "V" track is from the ski to the top.

Looking down the Chitna River (West) about half way between Bear Island and the lodge.

The most important piece of any lodge is the buffet table. This place was not exception.
