Merry Christmas! 2009

My (Christina) birthday is on the 23rd of December.  That morning Annie and I went shopping at the mall and then we met the guys at a coffee shop.  From there we went to see The Blind Side at the theater (excellent movie!!) and then to the Moose's Tooth for some amazing pizza!!  It was one of the best birthday's I've ever had!

On Christmas Eve we were invited to the Claus' house for a meal.  I thought it was funny that we were going to the Claus house on Christmas Eve--like as in Santa Claus.  Annie made a delicious apple pie to share!

There was a white elephant gift exchange which Quent gladly took part in.  His gift was a cinder block filled with a mug with hot chocolate mixes.  It was heavy!!

I was really excited about this get together because Callie was there!  (She was the one who stayed with us last year in Wrangell).  Callie's aunt is Mrs. Claus.  We were both pretty excited when we saw one another!

This is Callie's cousin.  Quent will have to remember her name for me.  She was pretty excited about cutting the pumpkin pie!

Christmas Day: Quent taking a "self-portrait" of himself.  Pretty creative!

Annie gave Nate a camera for Christmas!  The brothers are taking pictures of one another here.

We figured we should get out and enjoy the outdoors before we got too lazy.  Here is Annie and I in and old vehicle.  I'm not sure what kind of vehicle it was.

Quent isn't really that tall.

Nate was taking us to the old homestead on the property.  The trail to the homestead had snow that was at least 2 feet deep.  It was challenging walking through the deep snow.

I kept falling into the snow on our way back.  Quent even got me on video once.  It was pretty funny!

We really enjoyed spending Christmas with Nate and Annie.  It was super relaxed!  We were so relaxed and having so much fun playing Balderdash that we almost didn't even eat our Christmas meal, which was some type of curry dish.  There were a lot of laughs while playing Balderdash!  It was so fun!
