We drove to the Point Higgins Elementary School on the north end of the road system. I (Christina) was interested in taking pictures of us on the playground equipment (we are kids at heart!). But when we got there it was much colder than we realized. We snapped a few photos and then found a trail we had no idea about. And so we took the new trail and found ourselves on a beach that was really gorgeous. The trail definitely needs some more maintenance in some parts, but that just made it all the more exciting!
