And this post concludes our vacation and journey around the Midwest. We were sad to leave behind the beautiful fall colors and wonderful family/friends, but there is no place like home.
Jeralyn was patiently waiting with us in line at the Alaska airlines check-in counter. Their computers were down so they had to check us in manually...or however that worked.
Jeralyn took a short nap on the flight from Minneapolis to Seattle.
And Daddy tried to nap too! The blue thing on his chin is a piece of painters tape that Jeralyn stuck there. It cracks me up!
When we got to Seattle we discovered our next flight had been changed or cancelled. I can't remember. So we had a few extra hours to spend in the Seattle airport. We didn't step foot in our house until 11:00 pm that night. When we were on the airport ferry we saw some fabulous aurora. It was awesome!
We truly enjoyed our visit to the Midwest. We saw SO many people--some we hadn't seen in quite awhile. We were so proud at how well Jeralyn did with all of the travel. She had to sleep in so many different places and she saw so many people. She did awesome!
