Trip's End

Nate and I squint into the sun.

Nate skied down a ridge and hit what seemed like the only pocket of powder on the mountain.

One last view of camp. Nate's melting some snow for the the trip down the mountain. We left around 2 or so and made it down to the beach around 8:30pm if I remember right. It was a long journey, especially when traveling through the woods in the dark. We followed the survey line that we found on the way up and that helped a lot. It would have been really miserable without that. We were picked up the following day at 8am. We camped on the beach and listened to the waves all night long. The trees protected us from the wind for the most part. It was breezy again. We slept well and didn't wake up until about 7:50am. Had to hurry to get packed before the boat arrived. Christina surprised me by showing in the boat. Thankfully there was enough of a breeze in the boat so she didn't have to smell us too much.

Christina stuck a Christmas ornament into pack again. Couldn't help but pose with it.
