After Ryan and I arrived at our camping spot Bob Lippert came and joined us. After supper Bob and I went skiing by moonlight. The ski track across the face of the slope was made several hours after sunset as I made a traverse before skiing down a bowl. This photo was taken a little bit prior to sunrise.

A photo by moonlight. During this long exposure I twice skied toward the camera. Once with the headlamp on my head and once with it in my hand as I held my ski pole.

This is the camp where Bob, Ryan, and I slept. We dug a little pit and piled chunks of snow up to block the wind.
