At the Peak

Nathan shovels snow as he begins to construct the shelter for the night. The snow was HARD, perhaps I should say the ice was soft... in places.

As I took my turn chipping the ice/snow and making blocks, Nate would stack them. After handing him a particular block he laid his shovel down to pick up the block and set it one the wall. The next thing you know, he was chasing his shovel down the mountain. Thankfully it came to a rest on the top of the ridge below instead of falling off the ridge and going a lot farther. Nate poses with his trophy with the flats of the Stikine River in the background.

A mountain on in Canada shines as Nate waders around on top of Wrangell Peak.

Looking into the sunset.
