We went to Wrangell for a few days for my friend Joy's daughter's wedding. We took the ferry over with our truck. Here is our journey in photos:
Waiting in line to get on the ferry. You have to get to the ferry terminal 2 hours early to line up. Jeralyn ate her lunch in the back of the truck. She was having a good ole time! Her tooth popped through the day before, so she was happy!
Some people from somewhere (I'm not sure where they were from) were heading over to Wrangell to spend their another year enjoying Wrangell's amazing 4th of July celebration. They are chain-saw carvers. Interesting folk. We saw them again later in Wrangell.
When we got on the ferry we watched a float plane fly over numerous times. Quent thinks the guy was either just having fun entertaining the ferry tourists or had a photography op going on.
Quent enjoying the solarium deck. It was a GORGEOUS day!
Jeralyn had a good nap inside the ferry in that little tent we bought. So she was ready to enjoy the solarium and eventually dinner.
Wrangell--how we have missed you!
