I love the rain. I really do. Sometimes when the sun is shining I wish it would rain. But this was definitely a day where I wished the rain away. It wasn't much fun paddling in the rain. We were prepared for the rain, but the rain took away the beautiful scenery around us with the low clouds. The rain blew in our faces, so I had to keep my head down. I hardly ever looked up. I did look up when we went through Little Canyon, which had some tricky currents we were told we'd want to avoid.
We stopped for lunch. It was pretty miserable. I was cold and everything was wet.
