When we first moved to Alaska, my (Christina's) dad told me about a book called Tisha. It's about a teacher in Chicken who taught native students. It's a true story and I really liked it. I was really excited to visit Chicken because of this. When we were at the restaurant, I asked the owner of the store/restaurant/bar if she knew where the school house was. She said that it on private propery, but the owner gave tours once a day. This is a picture of the cabin. I'm not exactly sure what building is the orginal cabin that was the school house, but it's one of these.
