When we were driving to Wonder Lake the first day we arrived in Denali, Quent and Pat were scoping out the land for opportunities for a day hike. They picked a gorgeous spot to hike. We were walking through the tundra and it was really neat to see the different plant species and flowers.
Here we are starting out on our journey. We would stop for lunch on the side of a hill (out of the wind and rain). We had dry weather when we first started.
