Cutting down a Christmas tree was an interesting endeavor this year since Quent's knee is sprained and I am pregnant. At one point we thought we would just buy a real tree, but the Salvation Army sold all of their trees and for some reason Walmart didn't have any this year (as far as I could tell). I'm not ready for an artificial tree, so we decided we would just cut one down anyway and just take our sweet old time. Quent got a map from the Forest Service which told us where we can cut a tree (it changes each year). We drove out the road, parked, and then braved the pouring rain to find our tree. We walked up a hill a little ways and Quent scouted out a tree (a bull pine). It was wet and the muskeg ground was super soggy.

Doesn't she look impressed?
Time for a picture with Mommy!
This picture is blurry, but I love our smiling faces!
We were so happy to finally have our tree!
