Quent suggested we go on a hike up Dude Mountain. So that's what we did...
It was a cool(er) day. And it was foggy! We were walking through clouds when we got closer to the top.
Jeralyn is all about the berries when we walk/hike and play in the yard right now. She knows the difference between blueberries, red huckleberries, raspberries, salmon berries, cloud berries, and strawberries. And probably more. Quent spends a lot of the time picking berries for her to eat when we are out and about. And if there's snow, she would like some of that to munch on too! And fortunately for her, there was still snow to be eaten!
Hello fog! I'm probably somewhere in this picture, but you cannot see me.
A picture of some of the wildflowers on the saddle on the ridge.
I'm totally fake smiling in this picture. I was ready to be done. It was cold and misty, and we couldn't see anything. No pretty views this day.
Pretty water droplets on Jeralyn's eyelashes.
Enjoying a snack and trying to keep Jeralyn warm. Poor girl was shivering.
We bundled her up good before we retreated down the mountain.
She was pretending to give me a salmon berry and then would quickly put it into her mouth to eat it. She thought it was hilarious! Love her!
