We got up early and drove over to Slide Rock Park in Sedona. We wanted to make sure we got a good parking spot because the day before we saw that people had to park far away and walk to the park. So we got a great parking spot, ate a picnic breakfast, and then walked down to the water. Slide Rock Park has a creek running through it over rocks in such a way that the water will push you over the rocks. It's really neat! I wasn't as adventurous as some, but I really enjoyed our time at the park. I managed to get some sun...a LOT of sun! After we spent about 4-5 hours at the park we went back to our car and it was over 100 degrees in the car.
