Here we are standing in front of the sign. It was past 5:00 pm. Oops! See that fence? They are very serious about their security here. There were survalliance cameras, too!
Ok, so I got a little sun. Just a little. Cough. My left foot was really burned. It was even inflamed a little. I don't think I've ever gotten sunburn on my feet before. Yes, it was a little painful. This southeastern Alaska girl isn't used to putting on sunscreen.
The road to the meteor was open range.
