Bike Part 1

My dad custom-built this bike for me. I LOVE the orange color, the feel of the bike, everything is perfect! I want to take some more pictures of it for his website, but I'm waiting for an evening with some really pretty evening light. Until then these are some pictures Quent took of it shortly after I got the bike.

Bike Part 2

Visitor

Quent's brother's friend Ross was in Wrangell working with the medical clinic. He is studying to be a general surgeon. We had him over for dinner a couple of times and Quent spent some time hiking with him. Here are some pictures from their hike.

Happy 7 years!

On June 1st we celebrated our 7th year anniversary.

Picnic

One beautiful evening (I believe it was May 31st) we drove out the road to the Thom's Lake trail with Callie. She is the young lady renting a room from us who works for Crossings. She became part of our family and we really enjoyed her company.

Here we are enjoying a picnic dinner. I think it was brats, vegs & dip, and grapes. Oh, there were some cookies, too.

Cross Bill

This is a red Cross Bill that was on our feeder in early June. What a beautiful bird! They must have migrated farther north for the summer.

Softball

Quent has played softball for about 6 years now. He played on a team in Wisconsin and now here in Wrangell. He was the team manager for two years, but not this year since we are moving. Go Forest Service team!

Tigger & Bike

My dad built me a bike! A custom made bike! And I LOVE it!! It's orange and sparkly and feels wonderful to ride!! Check out what he does here! There are more pictures to post soon, but Quent has to edit them first.

Licking Yogurt

Whenever I eat yogurt the kitties come. Tigger especially likes it! He licked the container out afterwards and got some yogurt on his nose. So cute!

Playing in the Sprinkler

These were taken on June 6th. We had some beautiful weather!!! It was SO nice!! I went with my friend Joy and her kids out to Shoemaker park and played in the sprinkler.

Arizona here we come!

Quent had training in Flagstaff, Arizona for a week toward the end of May, so we made it a 2-week vacation. We were blessed to go to Arizona again. It's such a beautiful state! We also made our way north to Utah, which is another beautiful state we would like to explore even more.

We were waiting in the airport in Los Angeles. Quent thinks he saw some famous person, but I didn't see them. It must have been an older part of the airport because it wasn't very impressive. This was my first time in California.

This is me after we landed in Flagstaff. It was like a Wrangell airport, except bigger.

Campsite

We drove down to Sedona (it's such a beautiful drive!!) and after searching for awhile, we found a campsite at a Forest Service campground.


I don't think I was really *that* excited about camping. Ha!
