The Wrangell Hiking Club scheduled a hike up to Salamander Ridge on the 19th of July. Unfortunately, the person who was going to lead the hike was called on to fight wildfires in the lower 48. She asked me if I would lead the hike for her and I happily agreed. This is a unique little stream that serves as a marker, alerting hikers to turn and head into the woods about half way up the trail.
