Point Imperial

The next 8 pictures were all taken from Point Imperial. Point Imperial is on the eastern edge of the Grand Canyon. If you know where to look, you can see the Little Colorado River's canyon making it's entry in the top left of the photo.

It was very windy, we thought about eating here but decided that it was best to go back to camp.

Just beyond the cliffs in the foreground is Marble Canyon and the desert that it winds its way through. Echo Cliffs are visible in the distance with the sun shining on them and on the left the Vermillion Cliffs are casting a shadow. The bridge over the Colorado River (Navajo Bridge) is located at the intersection of these two cliffs.

Christina and I enjoying the scenery.
