Route 66, now Historic Route 66, with all its unique and somewhat dated architecture and signing. Earlier we passed the Route 66 Roadkill Cafe and several other similar shops.

We arrived at Hoover Dam at dusk. The four intakes stand up like guards at the dam. We didn't have a place to stay for the night so we took a quick look around and decided we would have to come back the next day after a refreshing night's sleep.
