Monday, March 13, I had the afternoon to explore the Juneau country side. Managed to get up into some steep terrain all in the name of a good picture but couldn't get above the cliff band above this point. Pretty steep just looking down.
Edge habitat. This appears to be a selective cut above a clearcut just above the Fred Meyer store.
Mendenhall Glacier in the evening.
Nugget falls. Hard to grasp the scale and size. Very impressive in person. The next day I saw two goats just beyond this falls.
