Cousins 10.6.14

On Monday morning, we went to my cousin Amanda's to spend the day with her and her kiddos.  She has a daughter, Grace, who is 3 months older than Jeralyn.  And she had her twin boys, Christian and Elijah, a month before I had Joshua.  It was fun to be pregnant together!

Family 10.5.14

My mom joined us and traveled across the state to Dorr, Michigan to visit her/our family.  It was so wonderful to see them all!

Playground 10.4.14

We spent a couple of nights at my dad's house before going to my mom's house.  We drove to a school playground and played.  It was rather cold out though and the wind wasn't friendly.  So we didn't stay as long as we had anticipated.

Jeralyn found a hula-hoop and I tried to show her how it works.  Ha!  It was comical!  She thought it was pretty fun!

G & G's 10.1.14

The day after we arrived in Michigan, we went to my grandparent's house and spent the day with them and my Aunt Mary.  It was a very precious visit!  xoxo

To Michigan we go... 9.30.14

 We left Ketchikan on September 29th, spent a night in Seattle (along with visiting some friends in Seattle), and then continued our journey to Detroit the next morning.  Our longest flight was about 4 hours 20 minutes.  The kids did great!  This trip was Joshua's first time flying and he did awesome!  He didn't nap much in-flight, but he was pretty happy despite the lack of sleep.

Jeralyn spent her time playing and watching movies.  She's such a good little traveler!

Jeralyn loves sitting next to Joshua when we have meals together at the table.  She pushes her chair as close to him as she can.  And now, in early November, she helps feed him Cheerios.  She is such a good big sister!  And he really enjoys her, too!

We played on the deck on this beautiful day.  It was the last few days of summer (although September was pretty nice).

Joshua's definition of "playing on the deck" would be laying on a blanket and hitting himself in the face with a rattle.  Ha!
