In mid-August, Quent's mom (aka Grandma Smith) came for a visit. She was on her way home from Alaska and was lucky enough to experience some hot temperatures here in Idaho. Ha! I'm sure it was a big climate change coming from cool Alaska to hot Idaho. I prefer the cooler temps myself. She also got to experience some of the smoky days due to many forest fires southeast of us.
The kids enjoyed her visit. They showed her how we do school, how we play at the park, how we get up early and play, how we eat ice cream...and live everyday life.
Grandma Smith gave Jeralyn her first sewing lesson.
