It has been a while since I last added photos to the blog. That doesn't mean we haven't been taking them. These were taken on March 23. This is Bessie's "false peak" as seen from 8-mile beach.

The great hunters... For a little while they moved their tails in perfect harmony. Christina and I were cracking up.
Unfortunately I forgot to switch the lens to the close focusing setting so all the photos of this Northern Flicker were slightly out of focus.
