Jeralyn wanted to learn more about dinosaurs so we did some nature studies about them for school once a week.  She enjoys drawing and nature study is her favorite.

Jeralyn and I went out for coffee (or hot cocoa) together. We played Uno, read, and enjoyed our treats.

September 2018

Here are a few last photos from September 2018:

The kids were ready for a new school year.  Jeralyn would be in 2nd grade, Joshua in preschool and Joel was along for the ride.

Jeralyn took a homeschool art class and there was a playground the boys played on while she was in class.

Jeralyn's 7th Birthday :: August 2018

Jeralyn celebrated her birthday for the 4th time this birthday.  When we came home from the airport, we found that Quent had decorated the house with balloons and streamers.  It was great!  Happy 7th birthday to our girl!

Michigan Part 3 :: August 2018

The last part of our trip was mostly spent at my dad's house.

We went to a children's museum.  The kids loved it!

And a grocery store!  This was like Kindergarten all over again!

We went to a waterpark with my dad's family and it was so much fun.  Jeralyn loved the water slides.

On our last night at my dad's we went to an observatory where my dad set up his telescope for us to look through.

Jeralyn enjoyed seeing the different planets and other astronomical viewings.

And then we went back to my mom's house.  In the afternoon we went to one of the elementary school's I attended when I was younger and we played at the playground.  These are the same monkey bars I played on when I was there.

And the grand finale of our time in Michigan (on Jeralyn's birthday--the 24th) we watched some hot air balloons launch.  The kids thought this was fantastic!
