Easter 4.5.15

The kids had fun looking for their Easter baskets (Joshua's was out in plain site).

Searching for eggs.

Jeralyn and Olivia

A photo of me and my little man before church.

It's challenging getting both children to look at the camera.

Princess Chair 4.4.15

When we were in Wrangell, our friend Grace gave Jeralyn her princess chair.  And little did we know Joshua would take a liking to it; he would sit in it for a long time all reclined and cozy.  Quent capture him on camera in this photo.

Dish Washer 4.2.15

Jeralyn asked all on her own if she could help wash the dishes.  And you betcha I took her up on her offer!  *wink*

Lunch Sweeties 4.1.15

Meal times are the best time to take photos of the kids because they are most still.

Mmmm...yummy apple!

Missy Moo picked up a cold while we were in Wrangell so there was a lot of nose wiping going on.  Poor girl!

Ferrying 3.22.15

We took a short trip to Wrangell.  Quent had some work to do there and we tagged along to visit friends.  And we had so much fun visiting that we didn't take any photos of our time with friends!  Oops!

But here is cute Joshua enjoying the ferry ride north to Wrangell.

Friends 3.17.15

My friend Samantha and I swap kids (babysitting) every other week for a couple of hours.  It's fun because they all play and are pretty entertained with one another.

Abby and Jeralyn playing with play-dough together.

Eli and Josh playing with Duplos.

Aurora 3.17.15

We had some awesome aurora earlier this year.  Quent capture this on camera:

Joshua's 1st Birthday Part II 3.14.15

And to continue the photos from Joshua's birthday party:

Left to right: Jere (my friend Valoree's husband), Jessica, Abby, Joshua (still eating his cupcake), Emma, and Joyce.

My friend Samantha and her little guy, Eli.

Josh guzzling some water after that deliciously sweet cupcake (and before being hosed off in the bathtub).

Hosed off and ready to open presents.

Upset that friends are opening his presents.  Ha!

So happy again!

Happy boy!

Peek-a-boo!

My friend Jessica and her daughter, Kiah.

Setting up Joshua's tool bench.

And then after not having any snow this winter, it snowed!  Joshua was interested in the snow so we let him venture outside.

After this point he started fussing (realized that it was cold).

And here's an up-close photo of the cupcakes I made.

He had a great party!  It's hard to believe that he's already a year old!

Joshua's 1st Birthday Part I 3.14.15

Joshua's first birthday was March 18th, but we had his birthday party on the 14th.  We invited some friends and enjoyed a puppy dog themed birthday party.  He likes puppy dogs because of the puppy dog he sleeps with in his crib.  The color theme was black, red, and blue.

I made him his own special, extra frosting cupcake that was his "smash cake".  He wasn't sure what to think of at first, but he very soon tasted the sweet flavors.  He demolished and ate...and then I hosed him off with the shower sprayer in the bathtub.  Fun stuff!

Everyone else's cupcakes had fondant puppy dog paw prints on top.

Part II coming soon...
