Bath Time 1.8.12

Jeralyn gets a bath at least every other day or sometimes everyday in the evening-time.  She LOVES her baths!  She's so calm and content after I put her in the water.

Here she is after being dried off after a bath.  The giraffe towel was made by my Aunt Kathy.  Super cool!

She likes play with her feet and suck on her toes a lot now.  Sometimes she'll just suck on her sock and then we have to put a different sock on because it's so wet.  Ha!

Grandpa Al & Grandma Mary 1.5.12

I believe this concludes the pictures from our trip to MI.

We spent one more night at my mom and Al's house.  And then we spent one more night at my dad and Kelly's house.  And then we had a 3 hour flight delay in Detroit, so we missed our connection in St. Louis.  We had to stay a full day in St. Louis to get on the next flight to Seattle.  Mama was NOT happy!  But Jeralyn did really GREAT on all of the flights home!  So proud of her!

I love the expression on her face!

Jeralyn's expressions are so calm and content looking.

What a cute baby!!

We truly enjoyed our visit in Michigan!  It was hard to say goodbye to everyone.

Little Baldy 1.4.12

Jeralyn has a pretty hilarious hair-line in the back.  Even the pediatrician said it wasn't something she was used to seeing.  Hahaha!  We've had people say it looks like a friar, a monk, and the best one (Grandpa Keller said it) Frank Baron (the dad) from Everybody Loves Raymond.  I have to agree!  Ha!  She has very straight hair and it's dark brown.  Hopefully one day it will all grow back.  Ha!

Friends 1.4.12

After we left Smith Acres we drove downstate to visit my friend Carrie and her family.  I still wasn't feeling like myself, but we had a sweet visit!

Jackson's 1st Birthday 1.2.12

Our nephew Jackson had his first birthday when we were together!  What a delightful little man!  Happy birthday!!

Josiah and Jeralyn 1.2.12

Prepare yourself to see some very fun and cute pictures!!  This all happened while I was sick in bed. I could hear what was going on, but I didn't see.  The pictures tell the story!  And what a story!  Haha!

Grandma holds Jeralyn and Josiah together on her lap.  Jeralyn sees Josiah and is immediately interested.

She's probably wondering at this point, "I wonder if he tastes good?"

"Mmmm...he does taste good!"

"Yum!  Yum!  Give me some of that cheek!"

"Wow!  That was great!"

I love how Josiah just slept through the whole thing.  I'm sure there will be paybacks some day...

Happy New Year!! Errr... 1.1.12

So we didn't ring in the New Year like most probably did.  Almost everyone was sick.  We don't know if it was food poisoning or just some random weird bug, but things were definitely not quite normal in the Smith house.  It was the most awkward couple of days because there was no food cooked, not much socializing going on, and it was quiet (except for the babies crying).  It felt like we were all quarantined in the house.  But thankfully all of the babies felt good!

New Years Eve 12.31.11

New Years Eve was a nice day!  We took a walk outside in the beautiful sunshine and then went to dinner at a friend of the family's house.

Dad Smith made me a delicious breakfast smoothie!  It was green, but a tasty green.  Ha!

Mom Smith cooking breakfast.  She's an AMAZING cook!!

And then Jeralyn had a bath that evening and showed off some cuteness!

Smith Acres 12.30.11

We arrived at Quent's parent's farm on December 28th and stayed there until January 3rd.  It was so great to have the whole family together again!  We sure missed having Chad (Mikaela's husband) with us!  We thank him for his active duty overseas!  We know it's a sacrifice!
