Aurora 9.27.11
After checking the aurora forecast, Quent decided to hunt for some aurora. And he had success!

Here is Quent's first attempt at getting her smile on camera. She wasn't in the greatest mood at the moment, so she wasn't as interested in smiling.
Going for a walk 10.9.11
I've been able to get back into exercising, so that means we can go on walks and hikes again. Yeah! We took a walk on the Savage trail after taking a couple of pictures first. We should have brought the camera on the trail with us because we saw a beautiful rainbow! Oops!

This was my first attempt at taking pictures of Jeralyn smiling at Quent. She does this cute gargle talk sometimes when she's smiling. It's SO cute!
Wrangell Visitors 10.2.11
My friend Joy and her daughter Grace visited us last weekend. We had a great time with them and they really enjoyed meeting and holding Jeralyn. I was sad to see them leave.

Swing 10.5.11
After I gave Jeralyn her vitamin drops today, I wanted her to be upright for a little while, so I thought we would try something new--the swing! She's too small for it, but I put some extra cushion in it to hold her in better. It seemed to work! I set the swing to the lowest motion. I couldn't tell if she enjoyed it, but she didn't cry and she just kept on staring at something off to the side with a very concentrated look. I'm sure she'll appreciate it more as she gets older.
