Bee! 6.10.13

We had some beautiful weather, so outside we went!  Jeralyn showed me how much she doesn't like bees flying around her (she must get that from her mama!).  She is real curious about the bees, but not when they get too close.  She even pretends to kiss the bees.  She kept on wanting to sit in my lap--where she felt more safe.

Train Table 6.8.13

Quent found a table for sale through a community sale cycle on Facebook.  He bought it for Jeralyn and she loves it!  I don't know who was more excited about it--Quent or Jeralyn?  She enjoys having the trains go down the "slide" and building roads.

Rice Play 6.7.13

I found an idea on Pinterest to put rice in a container with some plastic animals for a type of sensory bin.  She really enjoys playing with it.

Box Ride 6.6.13

She climbed into a box and probably asked for a ride.  Daddy came tied some rope to the box and she went for a ride!  So fun!

Corn-on-the-cob 6.6.13

Smoothie 6.6.13

Jeralyn enjoys sharing a smoothie with me...she drinks it from a cup.  This is what she looks like after.  Hee, hee!

Nothing really happening this day...just living life with a cute little girl!

Yum! 6.1.13

Quent and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary this day.  Our neighbors watched Jeralyn and we went out to eat at our favorite restaurant.  She didn't even care that we were gone enjoying a nice meal together.  Earlier that day I whipped up some whipping cream and she enjoyed licking the beaters.

P.S.  Quent has some photos so share of an overnight trip he took with his friend when we were in Wrangell.  He said he took around 3,000 photos!  So when he's finished editing those photos, he will post about his mini-trip.  But it might be a little while before that happens, so I will continue posting.

Jeralyn was having lots of fun in the kiddie pool with Grace and Alisha.  She tries doing that scream thing indoors but we tell her we don't scream inside.  She was really cracking us up with what she was doing.  You will just have to watch the video to see.

She enjoyed stealing Grace and Alisha's apples they cut up for a snack.   Silly girl!

Jeralyn didn't want to sit for very long.

I love Alisha's big, happy smile (giggle) in this one.

Jeralyn took the paper plate the apple slices were on and began to dip it into the water and would lap up the water from the plate.  You may wonder what temperature it was outside.  It was a warm 64 degrees for us Alaskans.

Gracie 5.22.13

One of Jeralyn's most talked about people is Gracie, my friend Joy's daughter.  After they visited us in Ketchikan back in February, Jeralyn would ask about Grace all the time.  She would say, "Gracie?"  And then hold her arms out as if to say, "Where is she?"  She LOVED spending time with her in Wrangell.

Shoemaker Park 5.22.13

We met my friend Jamie and her sweet children, Renee and Jack, at the park.  They brought some sand toys and Jeralyn really had fun playing in the sand with Renee.  It was crazy to look back and think that Renee wasn't even 2 years old when we moved to Wrangell, and now she's 10 years old!  So crazy how fast time flies!  I really enjoyed catching up with Jamie.  I miss them already!

A daycare group came to play as well, so there were a lot of little kids running around.  Jeralyn enjoyed every bit of it!  We stayed for about 2 hours and then headed back into town for lunch.

Play Dough 5.20.13

We stayed at my friend Joy's house.  Jeralyn enjoyed playing with some of Grace's play dough.  She tried to eat it but it's "real" play dough and doesn't taste as good as the Jello play dough I've made, so she decided that wasn't a good idea.

Ferry Ride 5.19.13

We took a week trip to Wrangell.  These are some photos from our ferry ride to Wrangell.  It's a 6-hour trip, and this one was from about 9:00 to 3:00.  Jeralyn skipped her nap this day and enjoyed the ride!

Jeralyn enjoyed the little play room and slide.  There was a service dog on the ferry that she enjoyed visiting. She was busy, busy, busy.
